Mumbai, Sep 23: India batsman Virat Kohli is now a co-owner of a football team, joining former captains Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly in the Indian Super League.
On Tuesday, Kohli was announced as a co-owner of FC Goa franchise, which will be among the 8 teams to be playing in ISL.
"Some might say that I'm a bit young to take this on, but I love football and really want to see it grow in India," Kohli said at the team's logo launch event in Mumbai today.
"The good thing about the ISL is that it will give a chance to young Indian players to play with international greats," the 25-year-old added.
